Managing Open Source projects may sometimes be uncontrollable and chaotic. Richard Hughes, who has over 10 years of experience developing open source software, will explain how the source code is managed, the role of “maintainer” and the personality traits good maintainers just have to have.

Richard is the maintainer of PackageKit, colord, and UPower and also a contributer to many other projects and opensource standards.
